We are seeking an experienced Product and Systems Manager to join our dynamic team at Imenco Future Technologies. As a leading manufacturer of subsea components, we specialize in integrating various parts from both internal and external sources to create comprehensive systems that meet our customers’ needs. Our systems encompass a range of elements, including cameras, lights, sensors, acoustics, and software, and we are looking for a candidate who can take responsibility for assessing, managing and designing our systems. Determining problems, providing solutions, and suggesting future improvements.

The workplace will be at our offices in Bergen.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As a Product Manager in Imenco Future Technologies you will be responsible for designing systems based on customers needs and requirements. These systems can consist of cameras, lights, a broad variation of sensors and acoustics – primarily for subsea applications. You will also be following up system deliveries, as well as leading internal and customer-initiated development projects with high quality and global standards. 

Other relevant responsibilities and tasks will be to

  • participate in product development of Imenco’s range of products and integrated systems
  • work actively to expand Imenco’s market area and customer base.
  • provide technical support to the sales team during sales processes, including assisting in understanding customer requirements and proposing appropriate technical solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, complemented by a proven track record of 10-15 years in subsea technology. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of automation, sensors, and acoustic communication within the subsea domain. Previous experience in marine operations would be highly advantageous. Moreover, we seek someone with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit, capable of seamlessly integrating into diverse teams.

In addition to technical expertise, successful candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to interact confidently with clients, and adeptness at managing stressful situations and adhering to procedures.
