Do you want an important and exciting role in an international technology company with significant growth ambitions?  Imenco is looking for a  purchaser with a strong business acumen who will have a key role in achieving Imenco’s goals within their business areas.

In the position as Purchaser in Imenco, you will work closely with project managers and you will get responsibility and ownership of your purchasing area. Your most important tasks will be to negotiate purchase agreements, follow up suppliers and participate in negotiations. You preferably have technical experience from purchasing processes or other relevant background. 

This position will report directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. 


In the role as Purchaser you will have a varied and interesting day where you get to negotiate purchase agreements and supplier contracts. 

Some of the responsibilities include

  • participation in project purchases
  • contribute to developing and improving the purchasing process
  • negotiate framework agreements
  • prepare requests and evaluate offers
  • evaluation, selection and approval of suppliers


We are looking for someone who has a relevant higher education. You have strong business acumen with an understanding of technology. It would be advantageous if you have

  • good financial understanding
  • knowledge of framework agreements
  • a few years of experience with procurement work
  • international experience
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • excellent proficiency in Norwegian and English
