Head of Marketing & Sales Mørenot Aquaculture AS

Mørenot Aquaculture is looking for a Head of Marketing & Sales to strengthen our company in terms of sales, sales processes, marketing, strategy, and customer relations.

In this position you will have a key role among the company’s management team. You will lead the sales department, that in close collaboration with other segments is continuously working on strengthening our market position. The role will report to CEO and be a member of the Mørenot Aquaculture’s management group.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for sales and marketing in Mørenot Aquaculture
  • Lead the strategy work and provide direction for sales in the division
  • Responsible for sales activities, market initiatives and promotional efforts
  • Lead the Norwegian and international sales team and implement a high quality standard for the overall sales process.
  • Business development based on products, solutions, services, strategic goals, and customer feedback
  • Close collaboration across divisions and segments to achieve the best possible customer experience 
  • Increase the visibility of Mørenot Aquaculture by use of social media

Qualifications

  • Preferably a higher education in economics or marketing, but other relevant education/experience is interesting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with sales and marketing 
  • Experience with commercial negotiations and contract work
  • User experience from CRM, ERP, Sharepoint or other similar systems
  • International experience and knowledge/interest for aquaculture is a great advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Norwegian and English

Workplace is preferably at the head office in Moa, Ålesund. However, for this position there are opportunities for a flexible workplace with a partial home office and use of our other locations. For the right candidate, a permanent office space at one of our locations may also be relevant.
